MyDoom and New Flaw in Internet Explorer
Unless you're a Mac user, your e-mail inbox is probably being deluged
as a result of MyDoom, the latest worm/virus. If you've been infected, get
help here. (Just note that while you can remove the virus from
your system, you can't really block infected e-mails from arriving,
unless you read your mail on the Web or use products like Mailwasher.)
And take steps now to protect yourself from the new
flaw discovered in Microsoft Internet Explorer that's predicted
to wreak havoc.
I highly recommend using the latest release of Mozilla instead
of Internet Explorer. It's not only much safer and more stable, it's
also highly user-friendly, and contains a built-in option to block
those pesky pop-up ads.
As always, install a good anti-virus program, keep it updated, and
use utmost caution with opening attachments, even if the "sender" is
a name you recognize.
